MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish // REVIEW

Hello beauties!

MAC recently came out with new Extra Dimension Skinfinishes for their new In The Spotlight collection which also has four new Strobe Cream shades. They had the Extra Dimension Skinfinish in the past but always part of limited edition collections. For example their famous Whisper of Gilt highlight was an Extra Dimension Skinfinish as well.

My MAC Nudes // COMPARISON

Since I did get a few more MAC lipsticks and they're all pretty much nude colours, I thought I would do a little comparison and swatches of all of them because I know I love seeing comparisons side by side to see how similar different colours are and if I need to own all of them (usually I do need all of them, it's a girls thing). I find these kind of posts quite useful and interesting to see, and also I find some of these lipsticks to be quite similar so I wanted to show you to give you an idea of how each of them looks.

My MAC Cosmetics Must-Haves

Hello beauties!
I am really sorry that I have been mia but I had started a job instead of university and it was just super hectic and now I have been in a early-life-crisis. But I am back now with a new blog post for ya'll and this time it's my top MAC products that I think everybody needs in their life.

MAC Strobe Cream // REVIEW

Today I am finally sitting down to give you my little review on MAC's Strobe Cream. I decided to go for the travel size (30 ml/1.0 oz) before I get the big version. Obviously, it would have been cheaper to go for the big size in the end, but I wanted to spend 10€ on this and it was crap, rather than spending 33€ on the full size and it was crap.

My MAC Palette // A Tour

Hello beauties!
Recently I got my MAC Pro Palette and of course I had to shop for refills right away and fill it up real quick. It is not fully done yet, but I am happy with all the eyeshadows it contains right now so I thought I might as well give you a little tour through my palette.

MAC Cosmetics Paint Pot "Painterly" // REVIEW

Today I am reviewing a very popular MAC product - the Paint Pot in "Painterly". You all heard of this product before, quite commonly used amongst Youtubers as an eyeshadow base in either the colour Painterly or Soft Ochre. I decided to go for Painterly because the colour is more brownish, nude while Soft Ochre is a bit more yellow in tone. My skin does not have a tint of yellow in it which is why I decided against Soft Ochre. The paint pots are 21,95€ which is quite expensive for an eyeshadow base but you do get 5g (0.17 oz) which is good amount of product. This pot will probably last me forever and might dry out before I even use it up.

WINTER MUST-HAVES: Dark Lipsticks

(f.l.t.r. Rimmel Kate Moss #107, NYX Matte Lipstick "Alabama", MAC "Rebel", MAC "Diva", Essence Good Girl Bad Girl LE "#01 It wasn't me")

Hello beauties!
Today I'm doing another winter must-haves. This time it's all about dark lipsticks because don't we all just love wearing dark lipstick in the fall and winter? I know I do.

MAC Cosmetics - Soar Lip Pencil // REVIEW

As we all know, the 90's lip is currently the biggest lip trend, thanks to Kylie Jenner. That's why I obviously had to go out and buy me MAC's Soar Lip Pencil, because people heard Kylie Jenner is wearing Soar and Whirl by MAC. It is such a struggle to hunt down either of those lip pencils, they're sold out basically everywhere. I am still waiting for Whirl to be back in stock. But I wanted to show you Soar anyway, because I know I wasn't sure what it'd look like when I bought it online.

MAC Cosmetics - Rebel Lipstick // REVIEW

Today I'm showing you MAC's very famous lipstick in the colour Rebel (which is also on of their most selling lipsticks in fall/autumn).

The lipsticks cost 19,95€ in my country which is quite expensive if you compare it to the US prices but what can you do? I'm such a MAC lipstick freak that I am willing to pay the price.

My MAC Lipstick Collection

(f.l.t.r.: Creme d'nude, Hue, Creme Cup, Pure Zen, Shy Girl, Velvet Teddy, Syrup, Plumful, Rebel, Viva Glam Rihanna, Diva, Flat Out Fabulous)

Today I thought I'd share my MAC lipstick collection with you including swatches on my arm.
I'm not going to go into much detail but I do want to give you a short statement to every single colour in case you are interested. To some I might have a lot of MAC lipsticks, to some it might be a tiny collection but I'm quite happy with it, especially since I got my first MAC lipstick mid-august 2014 and my last one october 17th 2014, so I spent quite a lot of money on all those lipsticks in just 2 months time.

MAC Cosmetics Velvet Teddy vs. Rimmel Kate #30 // COMPARISON

Today's post is yet again a comparison between two lipsticks. This time it's MAC's Velvet Teddy that everyone has recently been loving, thanks to Kylie Jenner and another Rimmel by Kate Moss lipstick in shade 30. I know they don't seem to be the exact same, but they are very similar. You could probably also compare the Rimmel one to MAC's Honeylove because it's a bit lighter than Velvet Teddy is but I don't own that one (yet). I just wanted to give you guys an idea on how they look compared in case you are looking for drugstore alternatives for the gorgeous Kylie Jenner lip look.

MAC Cosmetics Diva vs. Rimmel Kate #107 // COMPARISON

Today's post is going to be a comparison of the Lasting Finish lipstick by Kate Moss from Rimmel in 107 and MAC's Diva. They are both matte finishes and have been talked about loads of time. Apparently Rimmel 107 is a dupe for MAC's Diva and so I have never bought Diva because I didn't want to spend 19,95€ on a lipstick that looks the same as the Rimmel Kate Moss in 107 that I already owned (which is only around 7€).

MAC Prep + Prime Lip Base // REVIEW

Today I'm reviewing MAC's Prep+Prime Lip Base.

I got mine from Douglas online for 16,95€ and the product holds 1.7g (0.05 oz). MAC's official description of the product is "A colour-free base to wear under lipstick. Adds light moisture, smoothes and refines the lips. Improves the appearance of applied lip products." - We'll see if that's actually true.

MAC Cosmetics: Lipstick Finishes

Today's post is going to be a guide to MAC's lipstick finishes.
There are 7 standart lipstick finishes (not including their special lipsticks like pro longwear, sheen supreme etc.) which are Matte, Satin, Amplified, Cremesheen, Lustre, Glaze and Frost. Before getting into more detail about each finish, I should probably mention that not all the lipsticks in their own finish will be the exact same. So f.e. not all cremesheens are going to be the very exact same formula as the cremesheens, they might vary slightly. But not let's get to the actual finishes!

Mac Cosmetics - Syrup vs. Plumful // COMPARISON

Today I'm coming at you with my newest MAC purchases, which are the lipsticks "Syrup" and "Plumful" in a Lustre finish. The lighter colour is called Syrup, the darker, more berry colour is called Plumful (but I'm pretty sure you've heard of both of these colours before since they are pretty much classic MAC fall lipsticks including Rebel of course).
