Hello lovelies!
Today I am reviewing the Chanel Lèvres Scintillantes, Brilliant Extrême Glossimer in the colour #144 Rose Dilemma. I did own another one of these in the colour #297 Sweet Beige but I returned it because the colour was just not my thing. By the way, these lipglosses retail for 31,00€.
First of all, I have to give it to Chanel - the colour selection is great, there is shimmery shades as well as pure colour shades and they do give off a nice pigmented colour. Nothing too intense or crazy, just a nice lipgloss pigment that does show up a little bit.
I do have to say though that the formula is absolutely not my thing. I cannot deal with the formula at all. At first I thought I might just have a old one that it's this hard and clumpy but no, when I received my second one (Sweet Beige), it was just the same. They don't have a creamy, smooth formula, they are rather sticky and hard as if your lipgloss dried out. On the lips they are not super sticky but I just cannot deal with the texture. It does apply sticky and dried out and it's hard to get the product out of the tube because most of the product gets wiped off as soon as it comes to getting the applicator out.
The colour, none the less is a really pretty pink and for the money these lipglosses are, I will definitely use it up. But I'd rather not spend my money on these glosses. I would rather spend them on the Chanel Rouge Coco Shine lipsticks than their lipglosses.
