High-End Make Up Haul

I've been on a real make-up buying kick lately, I got most of the products that I had always wanted to try out and I'm excited to share them with you.

1. Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer

I was way too excited to finally see Too Faced available in Europe so of course I had to grab their cult classics. I could not decide which shade of Chocolate Soleil Bronzer I need for my fair skin so I thought the Milk Chocolate one might be a safe bet.

You can purchase it at Douglas

2. Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer

Since I wasn't sure on a shade, I also went ahead and purchased the original colour of the Chocolate Soleil Bronzers which is the medium shade between the Milk Chocolate and Dark Chocolate Soleil Bronzer. I think it's a good shade that I can definitely get away with in summer or using a light hand.

Again, you can also purchase this at Douglas

3. Too Faced Sweethearts Bronzer

I always hear KathleenLights rave about this bronzer so I knew I had to get this one too. I love the fact that it gives a slight sheen to the skin without looking glittery or extremely highlighted. It's a subtle glow that looks quite natural at the same time.

4. Too Faced Hangover Rx Primer

Suffering from quite dry skin especially in the winter months, I couldn't let this one slip through my hands. Trying out new primers has been a passion of mine lately so obviously I had to get the Hangover Rx Primer.

Purchase now on Douglas

5. Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder

Tati Westbrook loves this powder so I wanted to give it a go. Sadly I can already tell I'm not the biggest fan of it. First of all the packaging is a little weak, the lid can't be screwed on properly, it's more just like a "push me on and go" type of lid which seems to give a big mess when traveling. Also, even though the shade is called "translucent", it has a pink tint to it which on my fair skin just makes my skin look a bit pink and I'm not a fan. The smell this product has is also very strong and reminds me of the smell in my great granny's house back then. I also find it to give me quite a powdered look, a little too noticeable for my liking.

6. RCMA No-Color Powder

Another one of KathleenLights' favourites that I had been wanting to try for so long. I did not get around to using it yet but I'm super excited to. I hope it does me better than the Coty Airspun one.

7. Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder

I can't believe how expensive this powder is for how little product their actually is inside but Charlotte Tilbury products are definitely high end and amazing so I had to give it a try. I always set my face because I hate the tacky feeling foundation and concealer can have but since my skin is dry, I don't want the powder to accentuate the dryness or make my face look super powdery.

I heard this powder is extremely fine and makes your skin look airbrushed and flawless (oh well, it says that in the name already, duh) so I wanted to give it a shot.

8. Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow

Definitely a cult product that I didn't think would actually be amazing but I wanted to try out anyway since there is just so much hype around it. I have only tried the highlighting side yet and I must say I'm impressed. I thought it would be more of a subtle glow that doesn't really show up on the skin that much but I was wrong. It's a nice highlighter with medium intensity I would say.

9. Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick

I just had to try out one of Charlotte Tilbury's lipsticks, the packaging is too pretty as to not want to own one of them. I decided to go with the shade "Very Victoria" which is a nice nude shade that I find compliments my fair skin really nicely. It's not too dark for fair skin but would make the perfect nude shade on medium skin tones.

10. Ofra Glazed Donut Highlighter

Ofra is known for their intense highlights but most of the shades they have lean more golden and look to be a little dark for my extremely fair skin. I was so excited to see NikkieTutorials come out with a collaboration with them, doing three different highlighters for fair to deep skin tones. Nikkie is quite fair herself so of course she came out with a pearly white shade which is obviously the one I got. I'm super excited to finally be able to try out a Ofra highlight, and let me tell you.. they ain't playing around. If you want to glow to the gods, get you some Ofra.

11. MakeUp Forever Step 1 Smoothing Primer

Back to the primer topic that I was talking about earlier. MUF are known for their Step 1 Equalizers so I had no doubt about them. I decided to buy the smoothing primer to help me with the pores and texture around my nose, but since those type of primers usually break me out, I decided to go with the sample size first.

12. MakeUp Forever Step 1 Hydrating Primer

And of course a hydrating primer. This time I got the full size version just because my skin can never have enough hydration (and also the sample size was sold out). I'm pumped to try this one out, I hope it works well with my skin.

13. MakeUp Forever Ultra HD Microfinishing Loose Powder

Last but not least I got another setting powder. Oh girl, I can definitely see a theme now.

I used to have a little sample of a MakeUp Forever loose powder that I absolutely loved but I ran out and have no idea what the powder was actually called. I decided to purchase this one and see if it was like the sample I had and hopefully it is because that powder was just amazing.

14. MakeUp Forever Pro Bronze Fusion

As you might have noticed, I've also been obsessed with bronzers lately. My skin is just so pale, especially in winter time that a little bronzer is definitely needed. I already own one of MUF's Pro Sculpting Duos but the bronzer is there seems a little too dark for my skin, so I decided to purchase on of their actual bronzers in the lightest shade because I do enjoy the texture and finish the Pro Sculpting Duo has. Hopefully this shade matches me better.
