Hello beauties!
Recently I was feeling a bit spendy and decided to finally pick up a few high end products that I have been wanting for quite some time now. I picked up a few things from BeautyBay, CultBeauty and MAC Cosmetics.
First thing I picked is the BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector (Pressed) in the colour Moonstone. I have had my eye on these forever now and I could not decide which one to get. I wanted Champagne Pop and/or Opal as well but I am a very pale skin girl so I decided to go with Moonstone just to make sure I get a colour that I can actually wear.
I also finally got my hands on the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit (Fair/Medium). I have heard so many people talk about this and I wanted to get it ever since it came out but then everyone said that the Kat von D Shade and Light palette is a lot better, basically all reviews of them said the KVD is better but then I watched Shaaanxo on Youtube and in her 2015 Favourites she mentioned the Anastasia saying she prefers it over the KVD one so when I heard that, I was sold. Shannon is amazing, her make-up is always on point so I trust her opinion!
I cannot wait to play with the Contour Kit, I love the fact that you can take out the pans and get the colours seperately as well so when you run out of one colour, you can just buy the individual shade instead of repurchasing the entire palette for $40.
While I was on BeautyBay, I also got two more Morphe brushes, the M501 which is supposed to be an amazing brush for highlighting, and the M437 that I thought looks great for contouring. Definitely looking forward to trying these because Morphe makes amazing brushes for an affordable price!
Also, I finally got my hands on the MAC eyeshadow in Sumptuous Olive. I was never interested in that colour at all but I saw swatches online and it looked beautiful, not too olive if you use it with a blending brush just all over the lid. I'm sure it would make a great everyday eyeshadow used like that.
