Herbal Essences Naked Shine Shampoo & Conditioner // REVIEW

As promised in my last shampoo and conditioner review on the Aussie Long Luscious Line, I'm bringing you another review on another shampoo and conditioner but this time it's products that I have absolutely been loving lately.

I am talking about the fairly new line of Herbal Essences called "Naked" which has no silicones, no parabenes and no colorants in them. I have a love-hate relationship with Herbal Essences I must say, I have tried nearly every single shampoo/conditioner their have (at least that they have in Austria) and I love a lot of them but there are a few I did not like as much (f.e. the Honey I'm Strong strengthening shampoo and conditioner) but when I heard a few Youtubers talk about the Naked line they brought out, I thought I needed to try it out as soon as it hits stores in Austria, which I did.

I cannot tell you how in love I am. I did get the Shine shampoo & Shine conditioner because for some odd reason it was the only one that had a conditioner as well, the other ones only had the shampoo but no corresponding conditioner to buy.

Packaging: Is indeed naked, ha. It's a clear packaging, same curvy bottle as we know it from Herbal Essences. Not too fancy looking, the colourful ones are definitely nicer to look at but is that really the point of a haircare product? Not sure.

Price: The shampoo and conditioner are each 3,29€ in my local drugstore. The shampoo contains 250ml and the conditioner contains 200ml (which is okay since you use more shampoo than conditioner anyway, at least that's how it's supposed to be).

Scent: I absolutely LOVE the scent. It has got mint in it which you can definitely tell. It smells very minty and also kind of lemony which I really enjoy. It does not linger around too long which is nice because I do spray my hair with perfume (don't do it, it dries out your hair; but I'm too lazy to put my hair back when I spray perfume so it always ends up on my hair as well because it's just too long).

Effect: I'm not quite sure if it makes my hair any shinier or not but I can definitely tell you that I think the whole "no silicone, no parabenes" kind of thing does wonders to my hair. It feels very clean and whenever I use this shampoo and conditioner I can go like 4-5 days without washing my hair, it will not look super greasy and oily like it usually does on the 3rd day already. I do add dry shampoo on the 4th and 5th day if I do leave the house but it's not necessary to wash my hair again, which is good because you shouldn't be washing your hair too often anyway. For the price that the Herbal Essences things are, you should definitely go and try the Naked line!

I do have to say I don't use this line every single time I wash my hair just because I don't want my hair to get used to certain shampoos and conditioner or else they will most likely lose the effect they are supposed to have so I usually use the Naked line 2 or 3 times and then in between I use the Aussie one just to finally use it up.

Hope you enjoyed today's post :)
