MAC Cosmetics - Rebel Lipstick // REVIEW

Today I'm showing you MAC's very famous lipstick in the colour Rebel (which is also on of their most selling lipsticks in fall/autumn).

The lipsticks cost 19,95€ in my country which is quite expensive if you compare it to the US prices but what can you do? I'm such a MAC lipstick freak that I am willing to pay the price.

Rebel has a Satin finish means it's a very pigmented lipstick that has a semi-matte finish, lasts very long on the lips and if you use it with a lip liner (I tend to use it with NYX lip liner in Deep Purple) it will not bleed outside the lines either. Since it's semi-matte it can be quite drying if you wear it for hours and hours and will sit in the fine lines of your lips but it's definitely not as drying as the matte finishes can be. When you rub your lips together you can still feel a bit of moisture but it's not slippery in any way.

The lipstick in the tube looks way way darker than it is swatched or on the lips. In the tube it looks like a very dark plum colour that's nearly black (kind of like MAC Cyber you'd expect), but do not let that scare you because as you can see on my lips, it does definitely not come out as dark as it looks in the tube.

I also thought I'd give you another quick swatch on my hand which I must say does really come off true to colour on the picture. Rebel is a very nice plum colour which I absolutely love to wear in the fall and I totally understand why it is always sold out on the MAC counters that time of the year!

If you love yourself some plum, dark, vampy colours then Rebel is definitely a must have for your lipstick collection if you ask me!
