Glossybox May 2015 // UNBOXING

Today's post will be my last Glossybox Unboxing for quite some time because I cancelled my Glossybox subscription for the simple reason that I am quite unhappy with the service. Just to give you a quick description of my problem with them.. I see no reason why you have to fill out a Beauty Profile on their website where they tell you the products will be based on that profile of yours when every person literally gets the same exact products in their box, other than a few different products where there is two and like 50% get product 1 and the other half gets product 2, still not based on your Beauty Profile. So what's the reason behind it?

Also I'm not 100% satisfied with the products in Glossybox, most of them are products I never use like tinted lip balm or eyeliner or irrelevant hair products. And the other things are cheap products I can get in any drugstore for under 5€. So no thanks, I don't want to pay 50€ for 3 months of products I barely use or throw away. And since I have a Beauty Profile that clearly says I don't use any hair products except for shampoo/conditioner or haircare stuff, I still get hair styling products in nearly every box.. No thanks, I'd rather spend my money wisely on stuff I actually want to try/need.
But let's get to the actual Glossybox of May 2015, shall we?

Schwarzkopf OSiS+ Glamination Smooth Polish Elixir: From what I can tell in the Glossybox description magazine, this is a mixture of a shine spray, a sea salt spray and a hairspray for good hold. So it basically gives you shiny hair, volume, hold for your curls and everything you'd use seperately on your hair for effortless looking hair. Definitely something I don't need/use because I'm not a fan or hairspray etc. I'd rather not weight my hair down or make it sticky. This is a full size product though and retails for 17,50€.

Nutraluxe MD Eyeliner: This is a black felt-tip eyeliner in black that has a lash growing serum built into it, so while you wear your winged liner throughout the day, it will also help grow your lashes. The product itself (if it actual works) is a great idea and definitely a must-have product for any eyeliner lover, for a eyeliner loser like me, a normal lash serum would have been a lot more enjoyable. This is full size and retails for 39,95€.

A-Derma Sensifluid Micellar Cleansing Lotion: One product I am glad to have. I have never heard of this brand before but I am a freak for cleansing lotions. I remove my make-up, especially eye make-up with basic soap or the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and afterwards I will wash my face again with a milky cleansing lotion. I have tried a few different ones like the La Roche-Posey or the Vichy that I'm currently using so I am stoked to try this one out when I finished up the other one. They really help my skin stay hydrated and I barely ever get any break-outs when I use cleansing lotions to wash my face. This is only a sample size, the full size products contains 200ml and retails for 13,50€.

Malu Wilz Beauté Creamy Eyeshadow: This is a standart cream eyeshadow in a nice taupe colour that reminds me a lot of MAC's Satin Taupe eyeshadow. It is very sheer but can be built up quite a bit. So you can use it perfectly for an everyday kind of look or you can built it up to a more dramatic, going-out look at night. The colour is very nice, depends on if you like taupy, purple eyeshadows though. This is full size, retails for 13,50€

Académie Scientifique de Beauté Self-tanning Lotion: This is a lotion for self-tanning, I have tried it on my hands and I don't see it working tbh. I am not much of a self-tanning person, and if I ever wanted to self-tan, I'd rather use an actual lotion, not a liquid. I am honest with you, I threw that product away since I never see myself using it and I don't have any friends or family who would. This is only a sample size, the full size product would be 23,99€ for 100ml.

Extra - Foil Packets Samples: Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser and Maybelline Dream Mat Mousse Foundation. Haven't tried any of these yet, the foundation is not my skin tone and the pore eraser I am excited to try.

Hope you enjoyed today's post!
